This is a large old house of 130m² which has been extended and is in the traditional village of Kamares.

The original building consists of two rooms, on the lowest level, with stone walls, ceilings of heavy wooden beams and an original fireplace. This level requires full renovation.

The rest of the building has been constructed out of concrete and bricks.

The building has, over the years been, extended and is currently on four levels. The kitchen and a very basic bathroom are on the top level.

The building appears to be sound, but needs a complete modernisation. Electricity and water are connected.

It is in a village which many tourists pass through in order to visit the Kamares Cave, Zaros Trout farms and other places of interest in the area. The nearest large village is Timbaki, and it just over and hours drive to Heraklion and the airport.
